4.1. Description of first aid measures

General information
First aider: pay attention to self-protection! In case of any accident move the victim out of danger zone. Do not leave affected person unattended. Seek medical attention if necessary.
Inhalation
In case of accident by inhalation: remove casualty to fresh air, take the dirty clothes off and keep at rest. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice.
Skin contact
Thoroughly wash skin with soap and water. Do not use solvents or thinners. Remove contaminated clothing.
Eye contact
If product gets into the eye, keep eyelid open and rinse immediately with large quantities of water, for at least 10 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if any. In case of troubles or persistent symptoms, consult an ophthalmologist.
Ingestion
Have victim repeatedly drink large amounts of water with activated charcoal. Do not induce vomiting. No administration in cases of unconsciousness or cramps. Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Observe risk of aspiration if vomiting occurs. Get medical advice/attention.

7.1. Precautions for safe handling

Precautions should be taken to prevent the formation of dusts in concentrations above flammable, explosive or occupational exposure limits. Respiratory protection is needed.

Electrical equipment and lighting should be protected to appropriate standards to prevent dust coming into contact with hot surfaces, sparks or other ignition sources.

Mixture may charge electrostatically: always use earthing leads when transferring from one container to another.

Operators should wear antistatic footwear and clothing and floors should be of the conducting type.

Keep away from heat, sparks and flame.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid the inhalation of dust, particulates, spray or mist arising from the application of this mixture. Avoid inhalation of dust from sanding.

Eating, drinking and smoking should be prohibited in areas where this material is handled, stored and processed.

Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see Section 8).

Always keep in containers made from the same material as the original one.

Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses.

Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials (see Section 10) and food and drink. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabeled containers. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination.
