Start with the application environment

Before selecting a series, define where the part will be installed, what substrate and pretreatment will be used, and whether the project requires a named approval or certificate.

Substrate, fabrication method and surface condition.
Pretreatment and the complete coating system.
Installation environment and expected exposure.
Colour, gloss, texture and visual reference.
Part geometry, film build, application and curing conditions.
Required certificate, class, test method and document version.
